Introducing a new product carries the risk of irritation or allergic contact dermatitis. Patch testing allows you to observe how your skin responds in a controlled manner.

The Testing Process

  • Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear.
  • Keep the area dry and avoid washing it for 24 hours.
  • Monitor for redness, itching, or burning.
  • Repeat this process for three to five days.

If you experience any immediate discomfort, wash the product off immediately. It is important to note that a negative patch test does not guarantee you will never have a reaction, but it significantly reduces the likelihood of a widespread flare-up.

Always patch-test new products to identify potential sensitivities before full-face application.
